Born on November 14, 1979, in Nashville, TN, Wade was welcomed into the world by his parents, Gary and Diane Benz. Even in his early years, Wade demonstrated a remarkable versatility, embarking on careers in modeling, acting, and news broadcasting, all before reaching the age of 18. He possessed a keen intellect and was genuinely fascinated by the advancements in technology, the unfolding of current events, and the intricacies of politics. A devout Christian, Wade’s faith was a cornerstone of his life. He proudly cherished his time as an alumnus of Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA), Western Kentucky University, and Belmont University, institutions that played a significant role in shaping his character and values. Following his college years, Wade embarked on a meaningful professional journey, partnering with his father, Gary, in business – a venture that held deep significance for him and strengthened their bond. Wade possessed an insatiable thirst for knowledge, becoming an avid reader of biographies and business journals, always seeking to expand his understanding of the world.
One of Wade’s greatest joys was spending time on the beaches of Florida. It was there, in 2010, that he experienced another life-changing moment: meeting and falling deeply in love with Natalie, who would become his wife. Their connection blossomed quickly, leading to marriage the following year. Together, they built a home in the heart of Franklin, TN, and filled it with love and laughter as they welcomed four beautiful children into their lives. Wade’s adoration for his children was immeasurable. He especially cherished moments like daddy-daughter dances with his eldest daughter, Sawyer, the quiet joy of taking his son, Owen, fishing on Sunday mornings, fun-filled daddy-daughter dates for donuts with his daughter Remy, and the precious, tender moments spent with his youngest daughter, Sully. These moments encapsulated the essence of Wade as a devoted and loving father.
To say Wade Benz never met a stranger would be an understatement. He was a friend to many, fiercely loyal to his family, and his life’s journey left an indelible mark on countless hearts. Wade is survived by his beloved wife Natalie, his daughters Sawyer Kate, Remington Ryan “Remy”, and Sullivan Roe “Sully”, and his son, Owen Wade. He is also survived by his parents, Gary and Diane Benz; his sister, Stephanie (Jody) McBrayer; his brother Chase (Tessa) Benz; his Father and Mother-in-law, Mike and Kelly Roebuck; his Brothers-in-law, Michael (Hannah) Roebuck, Christopher (Mallory) Roebuck, and Ryan Roebuck; his nieces, Sarah-Clayton McBrayer, Shiloh and Noah Benz, Riley and Blake, Charlie and Millie; and his nephews, Tripp and Phillip Roebuck. The outpouring of grief following Wade Benz death is a testament to the vast network of family and friends who cherished him.

A Celebration of Life service to honor Wade Benz will be held at Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin, TN. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the Service at 2:00 PM. Rolling Hills Community Church is located at 1810 Columbia Ave., Franklin, TN 37064. A private burial service for family will follow the service, providing a more intimate moment for close family to say their final goodbyes after the community celebration of Wade Benz death and life.
