In his personal life, Wade found immense joy and love. He cherished vacations to the beaches of Florida, and it was there in 2010 that he met Natalie, who would become his wife. Their connection was profound, leading to marriage the following year. They built their home in Franklin, Tennessee, and created a family filled with love and laughter, welcoming four children: Sawyer Kate, Remington Ryan “Remy”, Sullivan Roe “Sully”, and Owen Wade. Wade was a devoted father, finding special moments in everyday activities with his children. Whether it was daddy-daughter dances with Sawyer, fishing trips with Owen, donut dates with Remy, or simply spending quality time with Sully, he treasured each of these interactions.
Wade Benz will be remembered for his infectious smile, his engaging sense of humor, and his genuine enthusiasm for conversation. He is survived by his wife Natalie, his daughters Sawyer Kate, Remington Ryan “Remy”, and Sullivan Roe “Sully”, and his son Owen Wade. He also leaves behind his parents, Gary and Diane Benz, his sister Stephanie (Jody) McBrayer, his brother Chase (Tessa) Benz, and his extended family, including his father and mother-in-law, Mike and Kelly Roebuck, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In remembrance of Wade’s passion for Christ Presbyterian Academy and his support for the “Unseen Stories” project, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to CPA. A Celebration of Life service to honor Wade Benz will be held at Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin, TN. Friends and family are invited to visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the service at 2:00 PM at Rolling Hills Community Church, located at 1810 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064. A private burial will follow for the family. While we mourn the loss of Wade Benz, we also celebrate a life well-lived and the enduring impact he had on so many.
