Social Media Daredevil “Squeeze.benz” Charged in New Jersey Burglaries

Antonio Ginestri, widely recognized online as “Squeeze.benz” by his massive following on Instagram and YouTube, faces charges in connection to a series of burglaries across New Jersey. This arrest comes just months after the 19-year-old was apprehended for assault in Queens, marking a significant turn for the internet personality known for his high-speed antics.

Fairfield police responded to a reported burglary at a Speedway gas station on Route 46 East in the early hours of February 6th. Security footage from the scene depicted a gray SUV speeding away, carrying three individuals. This incident initiated an investigation that would soon connect “Squeeze.benz” to a wider pattern of criminal activity.

Law enforcement identified the getaway vehicle as a BMW X7, equipped with stolen New Jersey license plates. This same vehicle was allegedly linked to similar burglaries in neighboring towns including Roseland, Secaucus, and Hasbrouck Heights. Authorities believe the individuals involved in these incidents are the same group sought in connection to crimes extending into New York and Connecticut.

Ginestri and a 16-year-old accomplice were eventually apprehended and charged in connection with the burglaries. The charges against Ginestri include burglary and conspiracy, reflecting the severity of his alleged involvement.

Fairfield Police Public Information Officer Stacy Chiarolanza commented on the arrest, highlighting Ginestri’s online persona: “Ginestri is a well-known social media influencer known as ‘Squeeze.Benz.’ His online content primarily features him driving luxury vehicles recklessly, often in an attempt to provoke police response while concealing his identity with a full-face helmet. We appreciate the collaborative effort of all agencies involved in bringing this case together and making these arrests.” This statement underscores the contrast between Ginestri’s online image and the serious nature of the charges he now faces. The phrase “Squeeze Benz Sentence” might be interpreted as the kind of bold, attention-grabbing statement or action he would perform in his videos, now reframed within the context of his criminal charges.

Ginestri’s initial arrest occurred on May 16th, stemming from an unrelated assault incident on February 10th. Police reports indicate the assault took place inside the Steinway Deli in Queens, Long Island City, where the victim was reportedly punched in the head.

In connection to the deli assault, Ginestri was charged with assault, while the 16-year-old was charged with assault and harassment following an April arrest.

“Squeeze.benz” gained notoriety for his audacious videos showcasing high-speed driving through New York City’s five boroughs. The NYPD previously identified him as “one of the most prolific street racers” in the city. His online content often depicted him speeding through traffic, at times reaching speeds of 130 mph, while evading law enforcement.

Ginestri had also extended his taunts to New Jersey authorities, posting videos that included dangerous stunts such as performing donuts around a Newark police vehicle. These videos, intended to build his online persona and “squeeze benz sentence” – or create impactful, attention-grabbing content related to luxury cars – have now led to serious legal repercussions.

At present, attorney information for Ginestri remains unavailable. The case is ongoing, and further details are expected to emerge as the legal proceedings unfold.
