Did Slow Benz Go to Jail? Squeeze Benz’s Reckless Ride Takes a Detour to Detention

Antonio Ginestri, famously known as “Squeeze Benz” from his viral YouTube escapades, finds himself in hot water once again, and this time, it’s more serious than just reckless driving. The online personality who gained notoriety for taunting law enforcement with his audacious driving videos is now reportedly behind bars facing charges related to a string of ATM and luxury handbag thefts. This arrest raises the question on everyone’s mind: Did Slow Benz Go To Jail for good?

Squeeze Benz, the moniker synonymous with high-speed chases and brazen disregard for traffic laws across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, had previously made headlines for his cat-and-mouse game with the police. In May, the NYPD and New Jersey Public Safety Commission publicly identified 19-year-old Antonio Ginestri as the individual behind the “Squeeze Benz” persona. While that initial arrest was linked to his on-road antics, this new detention stems from alleged crimes committed prior to his fame as a reckless driver. Law enforcement officials have now connected Ginestri to thefts totaling approximately $38,000 in designer handbags, alongside ATM robberies.

According to reports from NJ.com, Ginestri’s recent arrest occurred on May 16th, preceding the public announcement linking him to the Squeeze Benz online accounts by five days. Court documents related to this May 16th arrest detail accusations of Ginestri stealing $38,950 worth of high-end handbags. Adding fuel to the fire, authorities claim he was operating a stolen BMW X7 during these alleged handbag heists. Furthermore, Ginestri is suspected of involvement in ATM thefts dating back to January and February, with specific incidents on January 25th, 26th, February 6th, and February 9th under investigation. A 16-year-old has also been apprehended as an alleged accomplice in these crimes.

The once-cocky teenager who treated public roads as his personal playground is now confronting severe “grown-up charges.” These include employing a juvenile in criminal activities, theft by unlawful taking, and conspiracy. Currently, it appears the judge presiding over his case has denied bail, and a future court date remains undetermined. If Antonio Ginestri is indeed the face behind Squeeze Benz, as evidence strongly suggests, the internet can likely expect a significant drought in new videos from this controversial figure for the foreseeable future, as it seems “Slow Benz” might be doing time.
