Squeeze Benz Arrest: Reckless Driving Influencer Faces New Charges

The internet personality known as “Squeeze Benz,” or Antonio Ginestri, is once again in police custody, facing a fresh set of charges that go beyond his prior reckless driving stunts. This time, the charges are linked to serious offenses, including ATM robberies and the theft of luxury handbags, marking a significant escalation in the legal troubles for the 19-year-old influencer.

Ginestri initially gained notoriety for his brazen displays of dangerous driving across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, often taunting law enforcement through online videos. His antics led to a prior arrest in May, where authorities from the NYPD and the New Jersey Public Safety Commission officially identified him as the individual behind the “Squeeze Benz” persona. However, this recent arrest on May 16th stems from a separate series of alleged crimes that occurred prior to his initial apprehension for reckless driving.

According to reports from NJ.com, the charges against Ginestri are substantial. An affidavit details allegations that he stole approximately $38,950 worth of high-end designer handbags. Furthermore, law enforcement believes Ginestri was actively involved in ATM thefts dating back to January and February, specifically on January 25th, 26th, February 6th, and February 9th. The alleged vehicle used in some of these heists was a stolen BMW X7, further connecting him to the crimes. Adding to the severity of the situation, a 16-year-old has also been arrested as an alleged accomplice in these criminal activities.

The charges Ginestri now faces are serious felonies, reflecting a move beyond traffic violations into the realm of organized crime. These “grown-up charges,” as described, include employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime, theft by unlawful taking, and conspiracy. The legal repercussions appear to be intensifying for the social media figure who once treated public roads as his personal playground.

Currently, bail has been revoked in Ginestri’s case, indicating the court’s assessment of the gravity of the charges. With a new court date pending, the future of the individual known as Squeeze Benz looks drastically different from his online persona. If Antonio Ginestri is indeed the man behind the wheel of the stolen BMW X7 and the “Squeeze Benz” videos, as authorities strongly believe, his days of posting provocative content online are likely over as he navigates the serious legal challenges ahead.
