Your Ride to Victory: MARTA to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the SEC Championship

Getting to the heart-pounding action of the 2024 SEC Championship Game between the Georgia Bulldogs and Texas Longhorns at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, December 7th, just got easier. Forget game day traffic and parking hassles – MARTA is your winning play for seamless transportation to the stadium. With kickoff set for 4 p.m., planning your journey is key, and MARTA is stepping up its game with enhanced rail and bus services to ensure you don’t miss a single moment.

Rail Service for Game Day

MARTA will be operating extra rail services to accommodate the surge of fans heading to Mercedes-Benz Stadium. While all rail lines will follow their regular Saturday schedules starting around 6 a.m., service frequency will be increased. Expect trains every 10 minutes on the North/South line, running between Airport and Lindbergh Center Stations, and on the East/West line, operating between Ashby and King Memorial Stations.

To get fans directly to the stadium area, MARTA will run a dedicated shuttle train service between Five Points Station and the Mercedes-Benz Stadium/State Farm Arena/GWCC Station. This shuttle will operate frequently from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., ensuring a steady flow of passengers right to the action. After the game concludes, extra-service trains will be ready to handle the crowds departing the stadium, making your return trip as smooth as possible.
